From Monday 7th May Artesian launches its DAIQUIRIS & DOMINOES evenings, on the first and last Monday of every month. Priced at £40 for two, to include two Daiquiris each, a sharing platter for two (a choice of Antipasto, Meze, Chinese or Gourmet), the use of a domino set and a sheet of rules. From there, the evening could go anywhere...

Why Daiquiris? Because Artesian's cocktail list specializes in rum - and rum and lime juice are the main ingredients of a Daiquiris. And because the Daiquiris is the world's favourite cocktail.

Why dominos? Because the game is popular all around the world, played by all ages, races and nationalities. And like all good games, it is deceptively difficult to play well (definitely not just for kids), incredibly addictive and a great ice-breaker. There are multiple versions of the game, from easy to difficult - from simple versions like Block Dominoes to Draw Dominoes, to Mexican Train, which has taken American by storm. And like Daiquiris, dominoes came to us via Latin America.

So settle into this wonderfully stylish, softly-lit bar, with its wall of glinting rum bottles, and let the game begin...
